SUSAN STONE

After a career in professional photography spanning many years in several of Boston’s top custom photo labs, I settled in Ipswich and immersed myself in the community. I am a para-educator in the Ipswich schools, I have served as the president of the Ipswich Garden Club and I am a Garden Volunteer at Ipswich’s Crane Estate at Castle Hill. I am a long time volunteer at the Ipswich Museum and an event volunteer at the Crane Estate.
My artistic endeavors have continued as a founding member of the Ipswich Art Association and the Ipswich East East End Artists. I am a Castle Hill Artist showing annually at the Crane Estate Art Show and an annual participant at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts Annual Show. I’m a former member of the Ipswich Cultural Council and the Newburyport Art Association.
My Photography explores the multitude of ever-changing colors and textures found in Nature's palette. Ipswich and the North Shore provide an abundance of visual opportunities and subjects waiting to be explored and captured.
