Melissa Cox, local published freelance photographer, has recently found her love of nautical, architecture and landscape photography. She loves being out on the water taking pictures of ships, whales, and sunsets.  She volunteers with many organizations that she loves taking pictures of, such as Schooner Adventure and is a member of Thacher Island Association. Her “Gigs” picture was the cover of Discover Gloucester in 2020 and many of her pictures have been used in local publications as well as national.

Melissa is a member of the Rockport Art Association, Marblehead Art Association and Newburyport Art Association. She has received awards at Newburyport Art Association and Rockport Art Association. Her work can be found at Local Colors Gallery in Gloucester.
