Martha Doolin

Juried Artist Member since 2022

Drawing inspiration from our New England landscape, Martha's paintings are done primarily in oil "en plein air". A graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design with a degree in Illustration, Martha spent a number of years as a commercial artist and Illustrator before focusing on painting. She studied with Robert Douglas Hunter and David Curtis, and styles her work after the Boston School painters.

Martha's work has been included in a number of juried shows throughout the area, and has received prizes from the Guild of Boston Artists, the Weston Arts and Crafts Association and the Newton Art Association.
