Judy has a long history of art-making from creating a prize-winning valentine at age six to running a fine-art leather craft business in Woodstock NY in the 1970s, to working as a graphic designer/marketing executive in the ’80s and ’90s. In between, she studied art and photography at NYU and graduated from the University of Connecticut with a BFA in painting and photography. After leaving her corporate job in the early 2000s, Judy decided to rediscover fine arts and developed her own distinctive styles of photography. She was accepted at the RAA in 2004 and other local art associations including the Rocky Neck Art Colony and the Newburyport, Cambridge and Marblehead Art Associations and shortly after. Judy managed Gallery 53 on Rocky Neck for several years, where she still shows her work, and is represented by the Square Circle Gallery in Rockport, MA.
