Trees are fascinating to draw, with an incredible variety of trunk and branch forms and foliage types. In this online workshop, we will explore how to give volume and depth to trunks and branches and techniques for drawing foliage by “suggesting complexity.” In addition to the presentation, there will be plenty of time for drawing and individualized feedback.
All skill levels are welcome. The group will be limited to 12 participants. Erica will send you an invite with the Zoom link before the meeting.
Supplies:
• a multipurpose sketchbook or drawing paper (preferably 9 x 12 in. or larger)
• drawing pencils of different hardness (one HB and a 2B or softer)
• pencil sharpener
• 1 gray kneaded eraser
• 1 white plastic eraser
