The Cape Ann Summer School of Art presents:
Don Demers –
Sea & Shore
TuESDAY, September 2 - Friday, September 5, 2025 from 9 am - 4 pm
RAA&M Members: $825 | Non-Members: $875
There's a fascinating area between land and water. It's defined as "littoral". It's an area that fascinates most of us and I hope to study it with you through drawing and painting. It can be gentle, aggressive, exciting or contemplative, but to understand it through visual study will awaken your appreciation of this wonderful line between land and sea.
We'll study the shapes, patterns, colors and rhythms of this place along with its houses, boats, birds, sand, rocks, skies and all that it's made up of. There's no place better than Cape Ann to experience, study and learn of this unique place between sea and shore. Please join me as we study, understand and celebrate this gift the world offers us.
